Wooldale Free Church War Memorial

Details

This Church is also locally known as Lane Bottom Chapel situated off New Mill Road opposite the village Community Centre and in close proximity to the Sycamore Public House.

There are two wooden plaques on the ground floor that remember the men and women who gave their lives in two World Wars.

The period commemorated is 1914 – 1919 and 1939 - 1945

There are also two further plagues upstairs in the church listing the members of the Church who gave their lives in World War 1 and 2.

The two plaques are bronze plates on a wooden base on the wall in the Church upstairs and detail the following information:-
