How we do it

KNH is an arms length management organisation, set up by Kirklees Council to improve and manage council housing within the geographical area of Huddersfield, Holmfirth, Dewsbury, Batley and the surrounding area.

Our mission is to provide:

"Quality homes and services in successful communities"

As a 3 star "excellent" housing organisation, KNH is able to provide a range of advice, support and estate management services to other housing providers, on a consultancy basis. We are a Beacon Partner in "Improving housing services by involving tenants."

Who does it

KNH Consultancy was set up in May 2005, and is operated from within the New Business team. The organisation has run many successful consultation events - from half-day sessions on a single housing management issue, to peer reviews, to ongoing mentoring and support. KNH can draw on a wealth of experience from its excellent, practitioner staff and pass that expertise onto you.
