2008 Gardening Competition
Shirley Walker, overall winner of the 2007 competition, with head
judge, Graham Porter, and representatives from KNH and B&Q, who donated prizes.
Ladies and gentlemen, start your lawnmowers!
Nothing helps a home - or an estate - look better than well-kept and colourful gardens. So following the great
success of last year's event, we'll be launching the 2008 Gardening Competition in May.
The competition aims to recognise those residents who have made a difference to their estates and communities
by creating and maintaining all sorts of outstanding gardens.
We're very honoured that gardening expert, Graham Porter, has agreed to head up the judging panel again.
Graham was completely bowled over by the standard of the gardens he saw last year, and is looking forward to
being involved in this year's event.
You don't have to be an expert to stand a chance of winning - and you don't even need to have a garden - so
why not have a go? It costs nothing to enter and you could win a valuable prize.
The categories and entry form will be available in May, so watch this space.
