The StartRite scheme has been set up to encourage a positive start for first time tenants.

All 16-25 year olds who are supported by the council's Tenancy Support Service are eligible for a StartRite reward package. To qualify, they must successfully engage with their support worker and remain in their tenancy without any breaches for a further 13 weeks.

After successfully completing the 13 weeks of support, the tenant receives a welcome letter from Simon Rogers, Chief Executive Officer of KNH.

After another 13 problem-free weeks, KNH Excel awards a £30 voucher to be spent at "Pass it On!" the excellent recycled furniture outlet in Batley.
