Young People's Champions

KNH is committed to giving a high quality service to young people.
This is why, as well as having a central Young People's Team we also have a Young People's Champion in each of
our four neighbourhoods (Dewsbury, Batley & Spen, Huddersfield North and Huddersfield South).
The idea of having a Champion was suggested by young customers who felt that it would be useful to have staff
who had a focus on young people.
The Champions are also a point of contact for other staff as they will have received specialist training e.g.
welfare benefits for 16/17 year olds and mental health services for young people.
