Illegal occupation

Occasionally tenants move out and sub-let their property to another person. Sometimes people will see an empty
property and move in, knowing they should not be living there.
This is known as 'illegal occupation' or 'squatting'.
KNH will always look into cases of illegal occupation, and take the required legal action to make illegal
occupiers leave our properties.
If you know of any cases of illegal occupation, you can contact your housing office in confidence.
