Home Your tenancy

Your tenancy agreement is a binding contract between you and KNH, acting on behalf of Kirklees Council.

It contains your rights and obligations as a tenant and our rights and obligations as your landlord.

The agreement is in 12 parts, each one dealing with a particular topic, plus a schedule giving the names of the tenants and so on.

The following are extracts from the New Tenancy Agreement leaflet, which is part of the new tenancy pack you get when you sign up for a KNH property. Copies are also available from your neighbourhood housing office.
