Let us know you are changing your address
Moving house can be very stressful and there are a hundred and one things you need to do. If you live in Kirklees you will need to inform some council services that you are moving. Let us deal with this for you, all you have to do is tell us once you are moving and we will do the rest.

Please note before you begin that
  • You will be asked to provide details about who is moving, where you are moving from and to and when you are moving. Also for properties within Kirklees you will be asked for your Council Tax Billing Account number and /or your property reference number which can be found at the top right hand side of your council tax bill, above the thick dividing line. It may be worth having all this information to hand before you begin.
  • The Kirklees Revenues and Benefits service will automatically be informed of all change of address requests and you can choose which other services you wish to inform by selecting them from the list available
  • Electoral services require a completed, signed form for every individual over the age of 18 years. You can print the forms yourself at the end of this process or request to have them mailed to your home. Whichever method you choose all forms must be completed, signed and returned to:
